About Us
Pittsburgh Mennonite Church (PMC) is a member of Allegheny Mennonite Conference and the Mennonite Church, USA and believes God calls us to be followers of Jesus Christ and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to grow as communities of grace, joy, and peace, so that God’s healing and hope flow through us to the world. PMC is located in the Greenfield community of Pittsburgh and its members live throughout the city and surrounding areas.
PMC is a Christ-centered community open to everyone. Please join us for our regular Sunday service and get to know us! To learn more about worship at PMC, check out the Worship Commission page. We are also a community that enjoys learning, chatting, and eating together! During the school year, PMC has Sunday School for all ages before the service. Fellowship is very important to us and we’d love you to join us for our potluck after church on the first Sunday of every month. To learn more about Sunday Schools, potlucks, Vacation Bible School, and other elements of personal and communal growth through study and fellowship, check out the Education and Nurture Commission page.
The Mennonite Church is one of the traditional peace churches, and Pittsburgh Mennonite takes Christ’s message of peace and justice seriously. Christ tells us to love everyone, not just our friends and neighbors, but our enemies as well. To learn more about how PMC actively relates to the community of Pittsburgh and the rest of the world, check out the Mission and Service Commission page.
