The Building Task Group has made a decision to recommend to PMC the purchase the Swissvale United Methodist Church (SMC) building located at 2018 Braddock Avenue. We feel that this location and facility is a wonderful fit for the complex needs and dreams that the congregation shared with us. Because the opportunity is excellent, we have chosen to move forward quickly with the purchase agreement. The purchase is contingent upon inspection of the building by a licensed building inspector, upon fund raising and securing financing and most importantly the blessing and approval of the congregation. We unanimously and enthusiastically recommend this property to the congregation.
